This is a story about a girl who disappeared eleven years ago during a trip to the lake; about her sister Dee, who continues to search after tragedy destroys her family; about Ted, who was always strange and could be responsible for the girl's disappearance. Ted now lives with his daughter and cat in an abandoned house with boarded-up windows, through which light barely penetrates. Determined, Dee rents a house next door and secretly watches the man from a safe distance. When a neighbor disappears and some strange things happen, suspicion falls on Ted again... But can Dee finally find the killer?
